Hanke käynnistyi keväällä 2023, ja uusi museo avataan keväällä 2025. Hanketta johtaa ohjausryhmä, joka koostuu mukana olevien museoiden ja kuntien edustajista. Hanketta toteuttaa erillinen hanketiimi. XR-museo koostuu erilaisista XR-, metaversumi- ja web3-toteutuksista. Pääosa näistä on selainpohjaisia, mutta teemme myös esimerkiksi VR-tuotantoja. Tavoitteena on luoda elämyksellisiä ja vuorovaikutteisia tapoja kokea alueen taidetta ja kulttuuria. Kaikki hankkeessa tuotettavat sovellukset suunnitellaan ja testataan yhdessä yleisöjen ja sidosryhmien kanssa, ja osallisuusprosessit sisällytetään kaikkiin osatoteutuksiin. Tähän mennessä hankkeessa on toteutettu 360-valokuvista rakennettuja etävierailuja sekä mallinnettu taiteilijakoti Villa Kokkonen. Työn alla on metaversumiympäristön rakentaminen sekä tapahtumatilan luominen museolle. Jatkossa tuotetaan muun muassa lisää mallinnuksia ja näitä hyödyntäviä selain- ja VR-elämyksiä. The procurement concerns the XR, metaverse and web3 sub-implementations of the supra-municipal XR Museum project. The procurement will be carried out dynamically and the individual sub-projects will be tendered at a later stage among the suppliers selected in this procurement. The XR Museum is a joint project between the museums of Järvenpää, Kerava and Tuusula to build a fully virtual museum center. In addition to the municipal museums, the private museums Ainola and Lottamuseo are also involved. The project has received funding from the European Union's Next Generation EU structural funding. The project started in spring 2023 and the new museum will open in spring 2025. The project is led by a steering group of representatives from the participating museums and municipalities. The project will be implemented by a separate project team. The XR Museum consists of different XR, metaverse and web3 implementations.
